Mr. Asit Kumar Chakravorty holds an MSc (statistics ) and an MBA (Banking) degree from Dhaka University. He joined ICB in 1989 as a senior officer. During his long service of more than 32 years, he has been working in the Internal control and compliance Division, credit Division, planning, and Research Division, EEF Recovery Department, Fund Management Department. Mr. Asit Kumar also held the posts of the principal officer and senior Principal officer in various departments and In the Capacity of Deputy Chief Executive Officer as head of operations division of ICML. He has successfully completed banking diploma (Part 1 and 2). During his tenure, he has been attributed with special credit from ICB for formulating credit policies and lease financing policies. He has also been awarded a cer4tificate3 of appreciation for his involvement in the preparation of the ICB’s annual report. He has participated in various training, seminars, and workshops at home and abroad
